nextflowseqeratrainingnetworkingtalks

Seqera Sessions Cambridge 2026 is a full-day event hosted by Seqera on Thursday 10 September 2026, from 9:00 BST, at the Clayton Hotel, 27–29 Station Road, Cambridge CB1 2FB.

What it is

A day combining hands-on training with expert talks and networking, focused on the intersection of R&D, bioinformatics and agentic science — covering Nextflow workflow development and the latest updates to the Seqera Platform.

  • Morning (9:00–13:30): parallel training tracks — Hello Nextflow for beginners and an advanced track for experienced users.
  • Afternoon (14:30–17:00): platform demos, talks on AI and omics research, and a networking reception with industry leaders.

Speakers include Evan Floden (Seqera CEO), Drew DiPalma (VP Product) and Francisco Manuel Martín Zamora (Prima Mente) on AI applications in neurodegenerative disease research.

Who it’s for

Developers building workflows and team leaders managing bioinformatics operations — from beginners to experienced practitioners.

Why go?

This is a great opportunity to learn nextflow, and meet the top people in the UK and beyond of Nextflow developments. We went to the London Seqera Sessions last year, and it was great to discuss nextflow with people from both industry and academia. The training is also useful if you want to get a bit more human directed experience with the software!

Register

Full details and sign-up are on the Seqera event page and the registration page. The training sessions require advance registration with a nominal fee; the afternoon sessions are free.
